Obama: Give Trump A Chance, How You Campaign Is Not Always How You Govern.

'Don't assume the worst': Obama tells world leaders in Peru 'to give Trump a chance' because 'how you campaign is not always how you govern. While speaking in Peru in front of world leaders for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit on Saturday, President Obama said to give 'the new president-elect a chance'. As the president tried to tie up loose ends of his foreign policy agenda at APEC, he found that other world leaders at the town-hall style meeting in Lima were more focused on Donald Trump. 'Don't assume the worst. I think it will be important for everybody around the world to not make immediate judgments, but give this new president-elect a chance to put their team together, to examine the issues, to determine what their policies will be,' Obama said. 'How you campaign is not always how you govern.' Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3952784/US-demands-immediate-halt-airstrik

Andy Murray Finally Beats Djokovic To Claim World No 1 Spot In Tennis

Image
Andy Murray beat Djokovic at Barclays ATP World Tour Finals to claim World No 1 spot in Tennis Andy Murray silenced any argument about who is the best tennis player on the planet when he subdued his greatest rival on a delirious night at the O2 Arena. The 29 year-old Scot took the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals title with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Novak Djokovic to register his 24th straight victory that capped a late season surge. He will now keep the world No 1 ranking for a matter of months not weeks, and becomes the seventeenth man to hold the year-end positon since the computer whirred into life in 1973. Murray produced a rock solid performance to take advantage of an occasionally wayward Djokovic who, despite a late rally, sometimes seemed to be hosting the demons that have affected him since the French Open.

Image
Every year, especially around Oscar season, we hear these grand stories about actors going to absolute extremes to land roles, prepare for roles or get into character. Half of these stories are likely baloney, whereas the other half are no doubt exaggerated. You ever wonder why the cast and crew talk about these wild preparations so much? Rather than talk about all the actors who gained weight, lost weight or learned a trade individually, we’ll try and spread it out to touch on a number of different areas. Let’s start by addressing who’s been left off the list. To cut back on the category of “weight gainers/cutters,” we’ve left out Jared Leto for a few roles, Renee Zellweger for Bridget
